I had the opportunity to meet Terry many years ago, after reading his Trilogy I can say that I thought I knew the young teenager with the biggest smile on the block fresh in the town. I thank you for your transparency, and I can't wait to see the lives you will touch. I had the feeling that I was right there in the juke joint, and as the book was coming to the end I wanted more excited for Part 2. I laugh, cried and prayed, for Terry's strength as he becomes the patriarch of his family.Product details

This book was riveting..start to finish, especially knowing it was based on the author's life. I bought the book as it was recommended to me for a read on an upcoming plane trip, but I became so immersed in it that I finshed it ahead of time. Cannot wait for Terry Hill to get the Trilogy completed. Thank you for sharing your story, one I could relate to on so many levels.
This is a page turner I could not stop reading this book. I have known Terry Hill since I was a young girl. So some of the things he talked about in this book I kinda of known about. Terry keep your head up and keep writing.I knew when you sent me a rough draft when I was living in the Atlanta, GA that this was going to be a good book. GREAT JOB!!!!!
